NEW COMICS BY ME APPEARING IN 2006:
Put the Book Back on the Shelf: A Belle & Sebastian Anthology (Image Comics)
Coming in February from Image Comics is an anthology based on the music of Belle & Sebastian, one of my favorite bands! Each contributor chose a song to adapt, and I chose "Legal Man," a single of theirs that I've always liked quite a lot. As if this wasn't cool enough news, the book is going to come out around the same time that their new album , "The Life Pursuit!"
And if that wasn't exciting enough...
FLIGHT 3 (Ballantine/Random House)
Coming in later 2006 (set to premier at Comic-Con this summer, I believe), is FLIGHT 3, which is the first volume of FLIGHT to be published under Ballantine/Random House. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to contribute, with my story "The Lumbering Beast." This volume is looking like the best one ever, and I look forward to contributing to future volumes as well!
So, that's some good news! Other than that, I should be appearing in at least one other anthology next year...more word on that as it becomes more solid. Until then, I'm still working hard on The Ride Home!
