Okay, so back in February I mentioned the Strange Eggs book from Slave Labor Graphics. Like I said below, I have a one page comic in it. And now I've just posted a three page comic based on the same characters.

The basic premise is that Kip and Kelly Hatcher are two kids who are delivered a mysterious egg every week by Roger Rogers, and it always hatches something strange that they have to deal with. For the purpose of the cartoon show, each egg would hatch something that would teach Kip and Kelly a lesson. The first egg they were delivered hatched Hooper, an odd little creature that then became their friend. For more information, you can go to the Strange Eggs Fansite. Now, having been briefed, you can read my comic here, and then remember to buy Strange Eggs in May!

Two minor things to update. First of all, I took a few pieces down. Not a big deal, but you can ignore the last two updates, if you haven't already seen them.

In more exciting news, Optical Sloth reviewed Unremarkable Tree Frog! That makes all three of my minis, plus Lou Season, reviewed on that site! Alright!

Another illustration update! You know the old joke about a Polar Bear in a snow storm? Well, here it is!

This is probably the last illustration update for a while. I've got some time to work on comics, and have multiple projects started. So, hopefully, I'll be able to get a few finished and post them soon.

New illustration up today! It's not my best, but it was an experiment in scratchboard, which is pretty fun to use. So, give the Tea Bug a look!

So, finals weren't too bad this weekend, and I managed to get some coloring done earlier than expected. What does that mean? It means that I can present my newest comic, Future Joey! It's a tale of a possible future in which...well, you should probably just read it...

In other news, David Yoder Is Awesome! My friend David Yoder, who wrote and drew the mini Lou Season that I inked (remember? I've been mentioning it a lot lately), has been working on his own website, and it is finally open for public viewing! I've actually had the link on my Links page for a while now, and I secretly snuck it into my last update, but wasn't going to make any big announcement until he said it was ready. He's got quite a few comics up, and some good illustrations and stuff as well, so check it out! David Yoder Is Awesome!

Finally a new comic is up! It should appeal to fans of Tom Waits and/or Japanese pop culture. What an interesting mix, eh? Anyway, it's called Human Oddities, and it was an interesting experiment, so even if you don't like Tom Waits and hate the Japanese and their damned little characters, you might still enjoy it! I have another comic to put up when I can, but I'm planning on coloring it, and this is finals weekend for me, so it may take a week or so before it makes it up here.

In other news Lou Season was reviewed by Optical Sloth! Go David Yoder!
