Recently, I’ve been enjoying the vaguely cowboy-themed Japanese hero show Iron King.  It’s like Ultraman, but the twist is that it’s actually the goofy sidekick who transforms into the giant hero to fight the monsters.  Pretty great.

I had a crazy time at the San Diego Comic Con last week!  Hello to everyone who I saw there!

I wrote this one while eating cookies.

When titans clash!

Hey, I’ll be at the San Diego Comic Con…will you?  I’ll be at the Flight table, which is #2235, right next to Marvel!  Again, no Monster Isle stuff, but I will have copies of Cavemen in Space, Mermin, etc. for sale, and I’ll be available to sign copies of Flight Volumes 3-5 which all feature stories of mine.

I learned about the Skunk-Ape on my way up to Heroes Con last month.

I may have said this before, but I don’t read a ton of comics online.  However, I try to keep my links section filled with stuff that I think is good, and that I often try to read on a regular basis.  I just updated with four comics that you should totally check out!  They are Rice Boy (well, all of the comics by Evan Dahm under the “Rice-Boy.com” umbrella), Troop 142 by Mike Dawson, Double Fine Action Comics by Scott C, and Scenes From A Multiverse by Jonathan Rosenberg.  Be warned, these aren’t all aimed at kids (especially Troop 142 and Scenes From a Multiverse which I would not recommend for kids)
