Bad jokes!  You want ’em, I got ’em!  You don’t want ’em?  Well…I still got ’em!

Hey, by the way, I think it’s time to spread the love a little…I’ve been talking a lot about my Cavemen in Space Fundraiser, but there are more and more of these fundraisers popping up around the web.  It’s turned out to be a pretty effective way of raising money, and just spreading awareness about projects that need help.

First of all, Liz Baillie’s Freewheel Campout is wrapping up soon and she still has a way to go.  She and her fundraiser were a big inspiration to start my own, and I often looked to how she was handling it when building my own.  Check out her fundraiser here!

Also, Giant Robot, one of my favorite magazines is suffering along with the rest of the world of print.  They have a LOT of money to raise in order to provide another year’s worth of publications, but they are on their way!  I’ve seen a lot of support for them pop up around the web, and I hope it works out for them.  Check out their fundraiser here!

In other “…in Space” news, Mike Maihack (of the wonderful Cow & Buffalo strip) has begun a new webcomic called Cleopatra in Spaaaace!  Its quite a departure from C&B, and I can tell that Mike is having a lot of fun with it.

Finally, I just want to make a note real quick about my own fundraiser — We’ve passed the half-way point, which is very exciting.  Also, 2 of the 4 bonus woolly mammoths have been sent to good homes so far, leaving only 2 more to go!  Take a look at the updated Cavemen in Space Fundraiser page to learn more!
